DEMO ONLY — QP Electricians Demo

Fictional example wording — not legal advice

Last updated: 9 September 2026

1. About these terms

This demonstration website uses the fictional trading name “QP Electricians Demo”. The fictional example contact details are: 1 Example Street, Bolton, BL1 1ZZ, United Kingdom; [email protected]. Replace these details and this draft with the real client’s approved terms before publication.

2. The website and demo system

This page demonstrates an electrician lead-generation website, enquiry form, CRM, automated acknowledgements and appointment booking. It is not an offer to provide electrical work and no payment or service contract is created by using the demo.

3. Enquiries, quotes and estimates

An enquiry is a request for contact, not an acceptance of work. Any price or timeframe shown or discussed before the scope is confirmed is an example estimate only. A real client should issue a quote that states the agreed work, exclusions, price, VAT treatment where applicable, availability and how long the quote remains open. The final price may need to change if an inspection identifies additional work; changes should be agreed before they are carried out.

4. Appointments, cancellations and rescheduling

Bookings are subject to the calendar’s availability and confirmation. For this demo, availability is an example of Monday to Friday 08:00–18:00 and Saturday 09:00–12:00 in Europe/London; Sunday is closed. A real client must confirm hours, notice periods, cancellation charges, no-show rules and rescheduling options. Example only: please give 24 hours’ notice where possible and contact the business to move or cancel a booking. No cancellation fee is charged by this demo. Do not treat this example as the client’s final policy.

5. Emergencies and safety

The website is not an emergency response service and messages may not be monitored continuously. If there is immediate danger, fire or risk to life, move away from the hazard and call 999 or the appropriate emergency service. Do not touch exposed wiring or attempt unsafe repairs. A real client must add its approved emergency instructions and service limitations.

6. Payment and service terms

The demo collects no payment. A real client must provide its approved payment methods, deposits, invoicing, late-payment, warranty and cancellation terms. Those terms should be supplied separately where needed and must not be invented in this demo.

7. Acceptable use

Visitors must use the website lawfully, must not interfere with its operation, impersonate another person, submit harmful material or abuse the enquiry and booking tools. Information submitted should be accurate and relevant to the requested service.

8. Content and intellectual property

The website layout, original demo copy, branding and other materials belong to their respective owner or are used for demonstration. Permission is required before copying, republishing or adapting protected content, client logos, photographs, reviews or other materials.

9. Privacy, marketing, SMS and cookies

The related demo Privacy Policy explains how information could be collected through forms, calls, messages and bookings, and how marketing, SMS and cookies would need separate client-approved controls. Those pages are examples only. A real client must provide the final privacy policy, consent wording, cookie notice and opt-out process.

10. Liability and availability

This demo is provided for demonstration and testing. It is not a promise that a real electrician will accept work, attend an appointment or achieve a particular result. To the extent permitted by law, the demo makes no warranty about uninterrupted availability or error-free operation. Nothing in these draft terms removes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. A real client must obtain legal review of its final liability wording.

11. Changes and governing law

The demo wording may change as the website is developed. This example assumes the law of England and Wales, subject to legal review and any mandatory consumer protections. The real client must confirm the correct governing law and dispute process.

12. Contact

For this demo only, contact the fictional business at [email protected] or 1 Example Street, Bolton, BL1 1ZZ, United Kingdom. These are fictional details and must be replaced before any real site is published.
